The hospital saved your life. We’re here to help you live it.
Most medical journeys end at the hospital exit. Ours begins there. PICS Health was founded to bridge the "medical gap" between surviving the ICU and thriving at home. We provide a peer-led sanctuary to help you navigate the physical, cognitive, and spiritual aftershocks of critical illness.
While your loved one was in the ICU bed, you were in the waiting room. You are the "Scout"—the one now navigating the insurance calls, the medication schedules, and the emotional weight of a changing household.
PICS-family
It is medically recognized that caregivers suffer their own version of this trauma. Whether it’s caregiver burnout, unexplained anxiety, or the grief of losing the "old" version of your family dynamic, your experience is valid.
The sanctuary
PICS Health was built to support the Scout just as much as the Survivor. You don't have to bridge this gap alone.
Because you were in the trenches, too
Empathy first:
We speak the language of "Homecoming" because we understand the weight of survival.
Evidence-based:
Our path is grounded in a deep clinical understanding of the physical and mental aftershocks you face, providing the guidance needed to find your way back to yourself.
Community-led:
We believe that the best guide for the journey home is someone who has walked the path before you.
